Qualifications:

Required: Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Collaborative practice agreement with supervising physician (support available).
Active malpractice insurance (or proof of coverage).

Responsibilities:

Obtain and review patients’ medical and psychosocial history relevant to weight loss and IV infusion therapy.
Perform physical exams per established clinic guidelines.
Order and assess laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures, including ECGs.
Manage IV infusions and monitor patient reactions during and post‑treatment.
Provide basic medical consultation.
Prescribe and adjust medications.
Educate and counsel patients on weight management, lifestyle, nutrition, and medication adherence.

Typical Day:

Conduct new‑patient intakes: history, vitals, entire health assessment.
Administer and/or supervise IV infusion sessions.
Order labs/ECGs and interpret results.
Adjust treatment plans under physician collaboration.
Provide patient education and follow‑up guidance.
Ensure accurate documentation and EMR charting.

You’re a clinician with a passion for obesity medicine and metabolic health. You're proactive, attentive, and able to work independently in per‑diem or part‑time capacity.
