Nurse Practitioner Position (Part Time/Full Time)

Schedule: Part-Time or Per Diem

Qualifications:
  • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), or Physician Assistant (PA) license (required).
  • BLS certification (required).
  • Collaborative agreement with a supervising physician (assistance available).
  • Active malpractice insurance or proof of coverage.
Responsibilities:
  • Review patient medical and psychosocial history, including factors related to weight management.
  • Perform physical exams following clinic protocols and conduct psychiatric evaluations as needed.
  • Order and evaluate labs and diagnostic tests, including ECGs.
  • Administer and monitor IV infusions, ensuring patient safety before, during, and after treatment.
  • Monitor patients during and after treatments as needed.
  • Provide general medical and mental health consultations as appropriate.
  • Prescribe and adjust medications.
  • Educate patients on weight management, lifestyle changes, and medication adherence.

What Your Day Might Look Like:
  • Conduct new patient intakes (history, vitals, full assessment).
  • Support patients in their weight management journey.
  • Oversee IV infusion treatments and patient monitoring.
  • Order and interpret labs and ECGs.
  • Adjust care plans in collaboration with a supervising physician.
  • Provide patient education and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
